Intuition Learning offers innovative and engaging Maths and English tutoring services that help children improve their knowledge, boost their confidence, and deliver tangible results in their schoolwork and exams.

Whether a young person is looking to feel more confident in class, catch up or level up their grades, we can help. Working with Primary and Secondary pupils of all levels up to Advanced Higher, we have a deep understanding of the Scottish curriculum.

Babs Davie founded Intuition Learning with a simple purpose: to provide additional support to children and young people who might be struggling in school with Maths or English. Now, over 20 years later, Babs has helped hundreds of students achieve their goals, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Our Approach

What is the Intuition Learning approach?

We're a local, fully independent tuition company. That means we can tailor our approach to meet the needs of the young people we work with.

We use a combination of diagnostic resources to create a personalised learning plan for every individual that we work with and adopt a variety of teaching methods to ensure that tuition sessions are engaging and fun.

This approach ensures that we encourage young people to discover how they learn best and how to adopt more habits that complement their learning journey.

How are we different?

Our tutors don't just deliver tuition specific to a single subject; they work with the whole person. This approach fosters a fun and nurturing environment where students discover their agency while achieving academic success.

We view our tutors as mentors; our pupils feel seen and heard, which helps develop their soft skills, self-confidence, and self-belief outside the classroom.
